Prepare the following ingredients: soap, ammonia and salt, baking soda and baking powder, citric acid, and vinegar.

Soda

To get rid of grease and smoke in the oven, apply baking soda. However, you have to make some effort to clean the dirt. The glass of the oven is often covered with a brown touch that spoils the appearance of the appliance. Moreover, it does not allow you to look inside. Pour some baking soda on the glass, lightly moisten it and leave for 40-60 minutes. Then, the touch can be quickly removed with a damp cloth.

Vinegar

Wet the walls and door with a sponge soaked in a vinegar solution, leave thus for 2-3 hours, and then remove the softened dirt.

Vinegar and baking soda

Hydrogen, which is formed by reacting acetic acid and soda, will help you to wash the inside of the oven. Rub the inner surface with vinegar and sprinkle it with baking soda. The means perfectly removes the fat.

Vinegar, baking soda, and citric acid

First, warm up the oven at a maximum temperature. While it is heating, mix the vinegar, baking soda, and citric acid. The resulting mixture will easily clean the fat off even if the oven is very dirty.

Vinegar, baking soda, and soap

A mixture of vinegar ( 100 g), baking soda (40 g) diluted in water and soap (25 g) will help you to clean the oven. The mixture is applied on the inner surface and left for 2 hours. After that, take a damp sponge and wash away the softened dirt and grease without much difficulty.

This means will help to clean not only the oven but also grill and oven handle. In addition, it does not damage the enamel surface. After the procedure, the oven will shine like new.

Lemon juice

Squeeze the juice of a single lemon into the water and wash the inner surface with the resultant liquid. You can make the means a little bit different. Fill the container with water, put lemon slices there and pour a little detergent. Place it in the oven, which is heated to its maximum, for half an hour. Then remove all fat with a damp sponge.

Soap

Dilute a little detergent or soap in a hot water. Put the container with the obtained solution was placed into the oven, which was heated at 110 degrees for 30 minutes. Then remove the accumulated dirt with a sponge.

Cleaning with steam

The simplest, still quite an effective way to clean the oven is to steam the dirt on the inner walls. To do this, take a heatproof container of large diameter, pour water into it, add a little soap or dishwashing liquid and place in the oven.

Turn on at about 120-150 degrees. Wait until the water boils, and then boil it in no less than half an hour. You should boil the solution for about an hour if the pollution is strong and old. Then, you should wait until the appliance cools down. Then rinse the surface with a soapy sponge and wipe dry.

In order not to make your hands and face burnt, do not open the oven while the water is boiling and immediately after turning the appliance off.

Ammonia

To get rid of the stubborn grease stains, use ammonia. Moisten the walls of the oven and leave overnight. In the morning, the fat comes off easily with a little detergent.

There is another way, as well. Heat the oven, boil the water in a bowl and pour a little ammonia in another heatproof container. Then turn off the oven, put the ammonia on the top shelf and water – on the lower one. Close the door and leave overnight. In the morning, dilute the ammonia with water and add a little detergent. Remove all dirt with the resulting solution.

However, this method has significant drawbacks. Apply ammonia solution only having the gloves on, the solution should not get on the skin. Moreover, you have to use a respirator or at least a face mask because of the strong smell.

After using ammonia, rinse the oven with water several times (until the smell completely disappears); otherwise the cooked food will have an unpleasant smell.

Baking powder

Soak the inner surface and sprinkle with the baking powder. After a couple of hours, you will be able to remove the lumps of grease and baking powder.

Salt

Sprinkle the salt inside the oven and heat it. When the salt turns brown, remove it and wash the walls of the oven with a detergent.

How to clean the oven without much time and effort? If you do not want to wash it, get a gas stove with self-cleaning oven. This oven dissolves and removes grease itself while heating.

Today, consumers are offered ovens with catalytic or pyrolytic cleaning features. The secret is a special coating of the inner walls, which accelerates the decomposition of grease. To clean the oven with a pyrolytic cleaning system, it is enough to heat it to a temperature of 500 degrees, and then wipe the ashes from the walls with a damp cloth. Catalytic purification is carried out automatically by the usual heating to temperatures of 200-250 degrees.

It is easier to wash the oven if you do it regularly

Try not to put cleaning into cold storage. After all, the sooner you decide to start washing, the faster and easier you will cope with dirt. It is much easier to get rid of the “fresh” grease than when it sticks tightly to the surface. If wash the oven case-by-case but not regularly, then you should be patient, take sponges, detergents, and a stiff brush. You may have to soak the walls several times, and only then, you will be able to achieve the perfect result. Combine all of the above methods and care for your oven properly. And while cooking, try to cover the dish with parchment, foil, or cooking bag. This will protect the walls of the grease stains.

So now, you know a lot of ways to quickly and easily clean up stains from the inside of the oven. Try all of them to choose the best. And let your family enjoy delicious food cooked in the oven.
